Joey's refrigerator breaks, but he can't afford a new one so tries desperately to get one of his friends to pay for it. Ross's student girlfriend prepares to head to Miami for Spring Break and Ross tries to contain his paranoia over what she might get up to. Meanwhile, Rachel looks for a date to attend a Ralph Lauren ball, which sparks a competition of who finds the best date between Phoebe and Chandler and Monica.
