Parker (Alec Baldwin) — An extremely (and constantly) energetic and optimistic man Phoebe meets at the dry cleaner in "The One with the Tea Leaves". He next appears in "The One in Massapequa" (Season 8, 2002), where he meets the other five friends and gives them a bad first impression of him with his annoying habit of making a big fuss of everything, even the most trivial things. He then joins them at Jack and Judy Geller's 35th anniversary party, where he drives everyone crazy by getting excited by anything and everything he sees. Phoebe overhears her friends making fun of Parker and, angered, scolds them. However, she soon tires of his unnatural eagerness, and after they witness and are bewildered by Monica's ridiculous failed attempt at a speech, she takes him back to her apartment and tries to get him to calm down by suggesting they play a no-talking game, only for him to respond by cheerfully saying "I lose, now (let's play) Jenga." Unable to listen to him anymore, she snaps and shouts at Parker, who responds to her angrily telling him she wants him to be "much less happy" by breaking up with her and angrily storming out of the room. It doesn't exactly take him long to move on from this break-up, however...just a few seconds after storming out, he returns, excited, to compliment the arguement they just had.
